I stayed at this hotel for a few nights and found the rooms to be clean and perfect for our needs. The service, though under pressure at times, was pleasant. The location was excellent for exploring WWI battlefields, and the dining experience, especially the buffet, was varied and enjoyable.

The hotel room was a bit overpriced considering it only included the room. I stayed on the 1st floor, so I had to keep the curtain closed all the time as it faced a parking area. However, the room had a lovely comfortable large bed and a kettle. It was small but clean and comfortable.

Location

The location was very convenient for visiting the Australian war memorial at Villers-Bretonneux. However, it might not be the most attractive spot. It was excellent for our Somme Tour, near shops straight off the motorway, but a bit difficult to find when leaving Amiens center.

I was pleasantly surprised by this hotel's convenient location just off the motorway and the peaceful surroundings. The room, although showing signs of wear with a fragile washbasin, was clean, tidy, and surprisingly spacious with a big comfortable bed. The constant sound of water was a minor disturbance at night, but overall, it was a satisfactory stay.
